Wireless Matrix Appoints Equity Investment Partner To Board Of Directors

HERNDON, VA - (Mar. 2, 2011) - Wireless Matrix Corporation (TSX: WRX) announced today that Alexander B. Washburn has been appointed to the company's Board of Directors, effective as of February 25, 2011.

Mr. Washburn is a co-founder and managing partner of Columbia Pacific Advisors, LLC, a public equity investment management firm based in Seattle. Prior to founding Columbia Pacific Advisors, Mr. Washburn was a principal and portfolio manager at Summit Capital Management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Business School at the University of Washington.

Columbia Pacific Advisors is a major Wireless Matrix shareholder.
