Wireless Matrix and Garmin Team Together

Value of FleetOutlook Solution Extended to Drivers

Herndon, VA - (August 27, 2009) - Wireless Matrix (TSX:WRX) announced today that the company has been selected by Garmin, a pioneer in Global Positioning System (GPS) devices and the worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and sale of GPS equipment, to become a Garmin Certified Partner.

To become a Garmin Certified Partner, Wireless Matrix underwent a rigorous evaluation by Garmin. This included verification of a working integration between Garmin’s Personal Navigation Devices (PND) and Fleet Management Interface (FMI) and Wireless Matrix’s FleetOutlook® vehicle management application, as well as detailed explanation of FleetOutlook and its applicable markets.

As a result of this relationship, FleetOutlook’s TechConnect™ communications module coupled with a Garmin PND enables turn-by-turn directions and real-time communication between the driver and the dispatcher.
