Wireless Matrix offers an Open Partner Interface (OPI) for open, scalable and bi-directional data exchange. Our OPI provides automatic vehicle location data to partners and customers, and in turn, receives data and updates from third-party databases via the Internet. This open interface offers our customers one solution through a seamless integration of systems or legacy applications.

Workforce Management Example

Workforce Management (WFM) partners need to know where their mobile assets are located in real-time. Many WFM applications rely on the field technicians calling in or completing an online form to provide location information. Integrating Wireless Matrix's FleetOutlook application with a partner's Workforce Management application offers customers:

• Timely updates of driver and vehicle pairing.
• The locations of all the field technicians with the work orders they have in progress, completed and not started.
• A display of unassigned work orders in conjunction with the current field technicians' locations. Dispatchers can determine the nearest field technician to send to a job.
• Turn-by-turn directions. Some WFM applications have the capability to display turn-by-turn directions to the dispatchers or other PC-based users. They generally rely on an AVL service to provide the actual turn-by-turn directions.
